Ram Navami celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, observed with recitations of the Ramayana and a midday (Madhyahna) puja marking the exact hour of his birth. Like Ganesh Chaturthi, the date follows Madhyahna Vyapini Navami - whichever day's Madhyahna Kaal the Navami tithi actually covers, not simply the day of sunrise.
