Do Ghati - 23 Apr 2026

The Do Ghati division, also known as the 30 Muhurats, is a more refined time-keeping system where the total period from sunrise to the next sunrise is divided into 30 equal segments of 48 minutes (two Ghatis) each.
Each Muhurat is governed by a specific deity, such as Brahma, Vishnu, or Agni, which lends the time slot a unique energetic quality.
The significance of this system is its precision in Vedic ritualism; it is used to identify highly specific moments like the Abhijit Muhurat (the most powerful mid-day window), ensuring that religious ceremonies or important initiations are aligned with the most potent cosmic vibrations.
